Ambiguous Loss: A Bricolage

A Digital Book

Mixed media digital installation

2019-2020

For two years, I developed "Ambiguous Loss: A Bricolage,” a digital book that reflects on the collective consciousness of femininity through the eyes of different women I’ve observed, known, and loved. In the stories I collected, I observed a quiet undercurrent of power that is resilient to the unique challenges that come with identifying as a woman. The collection is a mixture of mediums: a study on language, verbal and visual collage, reconstructed dictionary, stream of consciousness, prayer, external/internal dialogue, fictional memoir, biographical fiction, and soul movements. The e-book contains video, collage and poetry.
