This limited-edition 10″ × 10″ archival print is derived from Cellular Lines, my installation in At the Edge at the Shirley Fiterman Art Center (81 Barclay Street, NYC — June 10–August 15, 2026). Each print is sewn over with vibrant thread to give it texture behind the glass of a frame!
The original work is printed on fiber and installed across the wall as an expansive cellular network; this paper edition translates one of those compositions into a more accessible, collectible format. The image is a composited microscopy composition: nerve tissue, fungal cells, and plant matter layered and enlarged far beyond their actual scale, then cut into a circle that mirrors the microscope lens through which they were first seen. Some of the forms are generated with artificial intelligence and woven in alongside the organic specimens, blending the natural and the synthetic into a single, vibrant living network.
Printed in partnership with Positive Print Lab in NYC:
- Unframed
- Full bleed
- Hahnemühle Photo Rag® Matte
- 308 gsm, 100% cotton, acid- & lignin-free, museum-quality (ISO 9706)
Each print is made to archival standards, preserving the fine texture and depth of the original. A tangible fragment of the installation's quiet attention to what lives just beneath the surface.
